Andrea Tomé lives in Canada Water, London, with her cacti and the French ghost that haunts her room (she calls him Anatole).

Effortlessly Cool Kids was born during lockdown 2.0 out the inability of its founder, Andrea, to find good representation of what existing as a Gen Zedder or a Millennial in the 2020s really entails. Living in a fashion capital like London during late capitalism, little joys like buying a couple of macarons at La Durée Covent Garden (or your local M&S if you’ve had an underwhelming day and feel like you’ll need a self-care morning pronto) coexist with sending endless internship applications and wondering when you’ll be able to afford to rent a place for yourself. Or walking by Vogue House and asking yourself if you’ll ever belong.
